Social Distraction is about an urge to create. It’s about people who feel the need to spend their free time discovering new types of medias in which they could translate an idea, an emotion or a goal.
I started the idea among my friends to create an art collective to share our knowledge in different techniques and types of art. I think most of us got caught up in our careers or studies in the past years which lead us to put aside, whether minimally or completely, our creative side.
This collective is the chance to get back in action and have some fun. My goal is to spend time personally with each contributor and start with different ideas. Once I get an idea of each person’s future goals, I will start matching people and hopefully we will get to create something bigger.
This blog is a way to communicate with pictures or words on what we have been working on or what inspires us. It is also to build a portfolio and represent each member of this crew so you can get to know them better. Please do not hesitate and share your thoughts on our future posts!
