Encore une fois, mon amie Sara me donne une belle occasion de visiter ce pays coloré et accueillant qu’est le Mexique. Pas les plages de touristes ni la vie de pacha, mais plutôt les montagnes semi-désertiques, les voyages en autocars, les rues en pavé unis, sans oublier les repas copieux et délicieux, bien gras servis au coin de la rue. Heureusement, les mexicains sont les rois des jus de fruits et j’y étais comblée.
Je ne veux pas raconter ici plus en détails mon voyage, mais plutôt partager quelques clichés, pris durant ce séjour.

So I ended up spinning at the party since the organizers had trouble filling up the night in music. It was an awesome experience. I think I kicked ass and got people to discover a few new hot bands. I decided to share the playlist here. The mp3 is sadly not a mix but just a package of all the songs played that night. Didn’t get to record what I did on a laptop! Anyways.. Enjoy!

Day off!

I haven’t a day off in the week for a couple month. God, it was such a good day. I finally found time to do some screenprinting. I’ve learned 2 years ago how to do it, but haven’t found much time to do some. Also, it was my friend Sachiko’s birthday recently, and i wanted to give her a nice present, even if i’m late. So, i made that card with a layer of gouache, then i silkscreened the bird on top of it. While at it, i silkscreened my new Moleskin agenda!
If you want to know how to screenprint, here’s a pretty good basic tutorial.
